Find out how to modify the shading color when selecting part of the text in any WordPress child theme using a simple code snippet.
By default, when you select a piece of text on a website, the background color that appears is light blue:

Add the following fragment at the end of the style.css file:
With the previous code snippet, in addition to customizing the background color (which should vary according to your interests), you also change the text color to make it read better.
However, if the contrast between the background color and the font is sufficient, you don’t need that line.
