Find out how to fix the layout design with the sidebar on the left in Genesis Framework child themes using code.
Genesis offers 6 possible structures depending on how you combine the content with the primary and secondary sidebars.
In most cases you don’t need all of them. In fact, if you wish, you can add a snippet to Genesis to force it to always display a certain layout.
For example, do you want all pages on the site to show the sidebar on the left?
Here you have how to do it:
Code to force the sidebar-content design
Add this fragment to the end of the functions.php file:
When you enter this block, all entries and pages in the Genesis child theme you are working will be shown with the sidebar on the left.
However, if you prefer, you can also fix one of the layouts with 2 sidebars, for example.
As you can see, a simple line of code helps you force the sidebar to the left of the content on any Genesis site.
