Add this fragment at the end of the functions.php file:
With this simple line of code you make the navegation menu disappear, both in the settings and in the WordPress customizer.
If you don’t want to be so drastic but you’ve gotten this far, you might want to remove just the sub menu.
Now you know how to avoid displaying the navigation menus, both primary and secondary, in any Genesis child theme.
