Find out how to remove the web description in a Genesis Framework child theme with a simple code snippet.
Many Genesis child themes offer the option of entering a phrase, idea or description in the web header next to the logo.
However, you may not need or want to use this feature and, in that case, perhaps you prefer to remove it.
How? Very easy. 🙂
Code snippet to delete the description in a header
To remove this space next to the logo, add the following fragment at the end of the functions.php file:
It’s as simple as that.
If you’re not going to use it, with a single line of code you can remove the header description of your Genesis theme.
