Genesis offers 6 possible structures depending on how you combine the content with the primary and secondary sidebars.
In most cases you don’t need all of them. In fact, if you wish, you can add a snippet to Genesis to force it to always display a certain layout.
For example, do you want all pages on the site to show the sidebar on the right?

Code to force content-sidebar design
Add this fragment to the end of the functions.php file:

When you enter this block, all entries and pages in the Genesis child theme you are working on will have the sidebar on the right.
If you prefer, you can also fix the sidebar to the left, for example.
Conclusions
