Find out how to remove the left sidebar layout design in Genesis Framework child themes using code.
Genesis offers 6 different layout designs that combine the content with the primary and secondary sidebars.
In most cases you don’t need all of them, and if you want, you can hide each design with a simple snippet in Genesis.
For example, this is what you should enter to remove the one layout with a sidebar on the left of the content:

Add this fragment to the end of the functions.php file:

With this simple line the left sidebar design will no longer appear in the “Layout” section of the Genesis sidebar.
If you are interested, you can also delete the right sidebar layout or delete all sidebar layouts using a single block of code.
